DEEP launched a friendly and educational robotics competition between De Anza and Foothill Community colleges on February 8, 2008. Each school is building two robots (using the Vex Robot Design System kit) to compete against each other.  The competition is based on the 2007 FIRST Tech Challenge Quad Quandary Game.

The goal of this competition is to:

• Expose students to the different areas of engineering
• Gain project management and technical skills
• Experience real world situations in product development and team environments

Competition Day: Saturday, June 7th from 10am-12:30pm
Location: De Anza College Conference Room A & B (inside the Hinson Campus Center)

NOTE: Due to other events happening on campus, parking is $5 (unless you have a De Anza or Foothill College parking permit). It is recommended that you park  in the Flint Center parking structure.
